Adventure, educatIon and fun

Give your kids a summer they’ll never forget! From outdoor adventures to learning new skills with friends, camp is the best way for your kids to fall in love with nature. LCRA Parks offers summer camp at the different locations, so learn more about each below.

Camp Overview

Kids ages 5-15 can enjoy our day camps, running Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Each week, campers will explore new outdoor themes packed with games, discoveries and hands-on activities.

Sponsor a Child

For over 25 years, LCRA Parks has offered fun-filled summer camps for youth across the Colorado River basin. We have continued to grow over the years and now serve almost 1,000 campers each year. You can make a difference by sponsoring a child today. Learn more. 

Our Camps

Matagorda Bay Nature Park

Just south of Bay City, Matagorda Bay Nature Park has miles of both beach and river access where your child can experience outdoor adventures at weekly summer camps.

Just east of Austin, McKinney Roughs Nature Park has 1,100 acres of pine forests and box canyons where your child can experience outdoor adventures at weekly summer camps.

Nightengale Archaeological Center

Just west of Austin, Nightengale Archaeological Center resides on Lake LBJ where your child can explore the water and learn about the park’s historical artifacts. Optional shuttle service available from the Marble Falls area.
